The Juris Go web extension offers a convenient way to manage time and expenses with enhanced security and user-friendly features. By following this guide, you can effectively utilize the web platform to streamline your workflow.

Navigating Juris Go Using a Web Browser
Upon logging in, you will be directed to the Time Entries page.
Use the navigation bar to seamlessly switch between different sections of the platform, including Time Entries, Expense Entries, and Settings.
Use the Quick Search bar at the top of the screen to perform Client or Matter inquiries, just like you would in the app. Enter your search query and select either Client or Matter from the dropdown menu. Clicking the Search icon will display the total results.
On the Time or Expense Entries page, you can view your entries categorized into three sections:
- Today: Displays entries created on the current date, allowing you to keep track of your daily activities.
- Draft: Shows entries that have not yet been submitted to Juris Suite for billing, enabling you to review and edit them before final submission. You can have up to 15 draft time or expense entries at a time.

All Entries: Provides a comprehensive list of all your entries, giving you a complete overview of your recorded time or expenses.
Use the filter
option to sort and view specific entries based on your criteria. This helps in quickly locating and managing your entries.
Entering Time
- Click
to add a time entry.
- Today's date is automatically assigned to the entry. To change the date of the entry, click the Calendar
button and select a different date.
- Complete one of the following actions to enter the time:

Click the timer to start it and click it again to stop. Time is added to the Hours field as long as the timer is running. For additional details, see Timer FAQs.
You can start and stop the timer on any page where the time entry is displayed.
- Alternatively, click the Hours field to manually type in the duration.

- Click the Search
button next to the Client to open the Search screen. Click on your client from the list. You can enter the name or number in the Search bar to quickly find and select your entry. You can also filter the list by Most Recent or Favorites. See Improving Search Results.
- To manually enter, type the Client Code.
- Click the Search
button next to the Matter to open the Search screen. Click on your matter from the list. You can enter the name or number in the Search bar to quickly find and select your entry. You can also filter the list by Most Recent. See Improving Search Results.
- To manually enter the field, type the Matter Code.
- If applicable, search for or manually enter the Task Code and Activity Code.
- If applicable, look up or manually enter Text Codes to be added to the Narrative field. You can also manually enter the Narrative description.
- If the entry is nonbillable, click on the Nonbillable slider.
- Click Ready to Submit from the Send as dropdown menu.
- Click Save
- When ready, click Send to Juris Suite to finalize the submission.
Entering Expenses
- Click
to add an expense entry.

You can either drag and drop an image of your receipt or browse your computer to upload it. Accepted formats include PDF, DOC, or DOCX.
Expense entries will display a paperclip icon to indicate that an attachment, such as a receipt, is included. This visual cue helps in identifying entries with additional documentation.
- Today's date is automatically assigned to the entry. To change the date of the entry, click the Calendar
button and select a different date.
- Enter the Amount
- Click the Search
button next to the Expense Code to open the Search screen. Click on your expense from the list. You can enter the name or number in the Search bar to quickly find and select your entry. You can also filter the list by Most Recent or Favorites. See Improving Search Results.
- To manually enter the field, type the Client Code.
- Click the Search
button next to the Client to open the Search screen. Click on your client from the list. You can enter the name or number in the Search bar to quickly find and select your entry. You can also filter the list by Most Recent or Favorites. See Improving Search Results.
- To manually enter the field, type the Client Code.
- Click the Search
button next to the Matter to open the Search screen. Click on your matter from the list. You can enter the name or number in the Search bar to quickly find and select your entry. You can also filter the list by Most Recent. See Improving Search Results.
- To manually enter the field, type the Matter Code.
- If applicable, search for or manually enter the Task Code.
- If applicable, look up or manually enter Text Codes to be added to the Narrative field. You can also manually enter the Narrative description.
- Click Ready to Submit from the Send as dropdown menu.
- Click Save
- When you are ready, click Send to Juris Suite to finalize the submission.

Submitting Entries to Juris
Juris Go Web can submit Time and Expense entries directly to Juris or Juris Suite. These options appear only when enabled in Juris Go Manager and when users have appropriate Juris permissions.
Prerequisites
Juris Go Manager: The Send to Juris option must be enabled in the Manager. (Juris Go Manager v4.x+ recommended.)

User Permissions: The user must have either:
Juris Administrator rights —OR—
Menu rights in Juris to add Time entries (for time submissions) and/or add Expense entries (for expense submissions).
If these are not configured, Send to Juris options will not appear in the web UI.
How to Enable
In Juris Go Web, go to Settings → Time and Expense.
Toggle Send to Juris ON.
Click Save.
Once enabled, the Sync to Juris or Send As option is visible when adding entries and the user’s selection is saved as a user preference.
Required Fields & Validation
Client and Matter are required to submit to Juris.
If either is missing, submission is blocked and an error message is shown.
Result after Submission
Submitted entries are recorded in Juris Go Web with status Recorded and also appear in Juris / Juris Suite.
Editing, Copying, and Recalling Entries
Editing Entries
You can edit entries with these statuses:
Web Draft
Memorandum Draft
Ready to Submit
Pending Approval
Approved
Recorded
To edit an entry:
Open the entry.
Click Edit.
Change the fields you need.
Click Save or Send (to resubmit to Juris/Juris Suite).
If an expense entry contains an attachment and you edit and resubmit that entry, the attachment will be removed. This applies only when the edited entry is resubmitted to Juris/Juris Suite.
Recalling Entries
The Recall feature lets you pull a Recorded entry back into a Juris Suite draft for changes.
Availability: Recall is only available for entries in Recorded status.
To recall an entry:
Open a Recorded entry.
Click Recall.
The entry becomes a Juris Suite draft.
Edit as needed, then Save as Web Draft or Send to Juris/Juris Suite.
Copying Entries
Use Copy to create a new entry populated with the fields of an existing entry.
Availability: Copy is available for all entries except Web Drafts.
To copy an entry:
Select the entry you want to copy.
Click Copy.
Edit the new entry as needed.
Save as a draft or submit it.
Settings
Click Settings to set preferences for entering time and expenses, or to change your Juris Go password. Customize your time and expense settings here by clicking on the slider to enable the feature, then click Save.
